Ezekiel's hair was getting a little wing-y behind his ears, so I finally relented and let Robb trim it a bit. The scissors proved to be too tricky, so he ended up using the electric clippers. Why is a baby's first haircut somehow sad?
Grandpa Rusty (Huddleston) would have been proud. As I remember it, he gave at least one back patio haircut to a neighborhood boy or friend every week (could have been once a month...). He kept his clippers and hair scissors in an old shoebox. Next time you have to drape a sheet around his shoulders and secure it tight around his neck with clothes pins to keep the hair off his neck.
Don't worry, Zeke, when you're older we won't let him touch it!
