Addition Progress #2

Carport gone.

Finished flower garden, new tree, hole in roof patched.

The bedroom closet.

I haven't done an update in about a week and a half, so there is some good progress. The siding is all done on the outside, the sheetrock is all up, taped, plastered and textured. I just finished painting the new bathroom, so Robb can start in on the tile work.

There is also a new wall going up in the kitchen. That means that the stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer are all left wandering about on their own. It is a pretty big mess to be living in at the moment, but pretty exciting.

Also, Robb finished up the flower garden in the front, so they are all matching and tidy. Love that guy!

Sabbath in Spokane (34 Weeks)

We got up early to hit the road Sabbath morning. After attending church at UCA with Michael, we got to have lunch with Broc and Sherisa. Sherisa had whipped up an amazing minestrone soup and we dined like kings.

Then off to find some parks in Spokane. I think it was Manito Park that had a gorgeous Japanese Garden and a greenhouse full of exotic plants. Robb went a little crazy with the flower photos. After that we ventured down to the riverfront to see the scenes. It looked quite a bit different without the extra 50,000 people from Bloomsday. We finished off the day with some dinner at Tomato Street (love it!) then back on the road.

Bloomsday 2010

So, the Mahurin and Coffee Clans took a road trip up to Spokane with Bloomsday in mind. This was Gene and Adrianna's first time running and my second, so I was a little more excited than they were. There were around 50,000 people running the 12-K, which makes for a fun race. Good times were had all around. Oh, and I beat my time from last year by almost 14 mins. :)

33 Weeks

Feeling HUGE! And this little one is turning into quite a kicker. It is pretty fun to watch it roll around in there. Fun and weird...
