Just Your Average Sunday

The best Sundays are filled with projects. But also, a little play and spending time with friends and pets and bees.

Perfect Sabbath Evening

Frog catching, bike riding, sunset watching and Lego playing. Who could ask for more?

A Work Event

Robb's cath lab team had a little get-together at Bethany's tonight. Her yard was perfect for all sorts of fun. And that little girl of hers...

Lincoln Time

Today it was Lincoln's turn for special Gabby time. They visited his favorite toy store to watch the trains and baked a beautiful batch of pretzel bites. Baking can be dangerous, best wear your Spiderman bike helmet.

Our Long Lost Gabby

What a joy to have this girl back in town. Even if it is only for a few days. She is forever in our hearts. Today's highlights included a Zeke date out on the town (ice cream at McDonalds!) and a Walmart shopping trip with Robb. I'm not sure how many Lego sets they may have come home with.

A New Home

These bees needed a new home. Robb was more than happy to oblige them.

Getting Ready

This is what trying to get ready looks like almost every day. It is a delicate dance of timing my shower to fit right between all of their moments of mischief. And sometimes I don't time it right and they unpack the cabinets and dispense all of the toilet paper. (Yep, that's a toothbrush on the floor. Gross.)

Today was extra special, because we haven't quite unpacked from our Montana trip. The big boys were "unpacking" everything and insisting that they needed their sleeping bags.

Boys at Play

They like to think they are helping. At least they were mostly staying out of the way. But giant piles of dirt and mud and rocks, not to mention large machines? Today was a little boys' dream come true.

Men at Work

These guys were getting it done today. And in the nick of time. It started to rain again right after they got it smoothed out and covered.

Just Another Day in Paradise

I love sharing every day with these little loves. And what better way to celebrate a birthday than with a blue frosting and sprinkles cake? Thanks mom!

At Last

Little brother has come up with a solution for controlling big brother. Totes! They really are the solution to everything.

Nature Boy

Just a little Lincoln, pulling a sled down the river.

Staying Entertained

I love having these rascals keeping me company. While sorting through my closet today, they stayed close. Sometimes helping me organize my purses, sometimes just reading to each other. Always being adorable.

A Little Bit Creative

This morning, Lincoln was amusing himself by arranging my hair bands in the shape of a robot. Or a car. I couldn't be quite sure. Then later, when I told him that he had to get dressed before going outside, he threw together this little ensemble. Apparently, if you really need to be wearing orange, a pajama top will serve just as well as a shirt.

Daily Dose of Nonsense

Now that Baby has discovered he can climb, he is getting trapped everywhere. And Lincoln? He likes taking up his guitar case (well, proportionally, a ukelele case looks like a guitar case on him) and trying on some of dad's thigh-high socks (again, the proportions thing).

 Just exploring the great out-of-doors.

Climber on the Loose

I see we have some more baby-proofing to do.

I Hate Goodbyes

We had so much fun with the Bartons. We definitely owe them a visit now. Before Harrison is shaving.

Mother's Day

Robb gets to sleep in on Sunday mornings. That is just the way it is. So when Sheila started barking at the streak of dawn this morning, she started off a chain reaction that woke baby and had me up.

Come to find out, the balloons were soaring over our house and that kind of freaks her out. But I got some quality time cuddling my baby before anyone else in the house was awake. Then Lincoln was up and feeling cuddly as well. I love being a mommy. I never did get an early morning selfie with Zeke though, cause Robb woke up and let me go back to bed. I love Robb.
