 Zeke and Linc spent the day with Nana and Papa, and the highlight seemed to have been a cardboard box. We got a new mattress for the new baby and the box turned out to be perfect for sliding.

This kid... He is turning into such a rascal. When we got back from the store today, I unbuckled the boys and started unloading the groceries. Right away, Lincoln climbed into the front seat and locked the doors. Then he sat there smiling at me like the little pill he is. Of course I had the keys and code, but he thought he was pulling a good one. With his independent little attitude he has also started wanting to feed himself exclusively. It is an awesome mess. And he is so proud.

Baking for Mommy

While up working in my loft in the evenings, I sometimes blurt out my random cravings. Tonight it was cake. So, when a delicious aroma started wafting up, I was ecstatic to discover that Robb and Zeke had baked a cake. From scratch.

Apparently Zeke knows something about big wave riding. Robb couldn't be more pleased.

Fun With Tumbleweeds

We have an overabundance of tumbleweed around the property. They love to collect all around the house and I've even seen them trying to jump into the bed of Robb's truck. So I guess Gabby thought she would give them a little help. She texted me this and told me not to tell Robb. He actually believed that they got in there by themselves. Or at least he pretended to.

While Zeke napped, Gabby and Lincoln got in some quality time making messes and cleaning up. A little chalk on the face, a lot of sink time. Best afternoon ever.

Mini Snowmen

Zeke and Daddy ducked outside for a few minutes and crafted tiny snowmen all along the walk.

Brothers

I just LOVE it when these two are sweet and cuddly. It is nearly impossible to capture in a photo, but every once in awhile I get lucky.

Gabby Snaps

Gabby and the boys were too long away from each other. They had plenty of catching up to do, including Christmas presents, cuddles and snacking on Gabby's post-dental procedure purees.    

New Years' Resolutions

Since the new year brings a treadmill to our living room, the boys are constantly desperate to put it to use.
