Sundy Morning Adventure

We had some plans to take the boys to The Home Depot for some Christmas crafting. Unfortunately, we didn't really do our research, and there wasn't a craft this morning. But, Lincoln and Oliver got in some quality cart driving. And then we just had to stop for hot cocoa.

Sabbath Sillies

Zeke figured out a new way to re-purpose Christmas ornaments. And whatever Zeke does, Lincoln is soon to copy...

Sabbath School Buddies

We got to take Ellis to Nursery today. She was so charming and silly. And I got to hang out with her the whole time! Except for near the end when we went to check on the big kids and Robb snatched her away.

The babies are pretty cute in Sabbath School. At first they don't seem to care much, but then you realize that they are completely fascinated by the other little people. And occasionally they seem interested in one of the activities. And by the time they graduate to the next class, they are obsessed with Sabbath School.

Trimming the Tree

We let the boys do the tree this year. Robb put on the lights, but that was just about it. Pretty much every ornament we own is currently bunched up in the lower front section. There are still some glass ones (from before we had little boys) in the box. Maybe we will add them to the top of the tree later. I love the magical glow of the Christmas tree. Merry Christmas, everyone!

And So It Begins

Zeke has been hounding us to get ready for Christmas. I mean, pretty much since October. We told him that we would decorate after Thanksgiving, so as soon as our Thanksgiving meal was over, he started in again. Which results in us being at Klicker's the day after Thanksgiving.

Budding Creatives

These guys keep us on our toes. This morning we caught Zeke running around with a mixer attachment stuffed in his sleeve. He thought he should be called Captain Dough Hook. Meanwhile, Lincoln was obsessing over a dry-erase page where he was drawing in "happy" faces on Linc, Mama and Sheila. Erasing and repeating.

Squishy Baby

His thighs! They are so perfectly round and dimpled. His cheeks! Again, so perfectly round and dimpled.

Dog Lover

Sheila seems to have endless patience for these little rascals. As soon as baby was mobile, he was over bugging her. He likes to crawl all over her and she just kind of rolls her eyes at us and puts up with it.

Skills

Lincoln has been practicing his drawing skills. He sees Zeke spending so much time with a pencil and scrap paper that he has decided to take it up for himself. He especially enjoys drawing "happy faces."

Lego Living Space

We've been having too much Lego fun around here. Everyone seems to have a favorite genre; Zeke loves anything with treasure, Robb likes castles, Lincoln mostly dismembers mini figures and I adore houses/furniture.

It took me awhile to build this, as I spend most of the time fending off baby and Lincoln and arguing with Zeke over "treasure" pieces. But here it is, my first full Lego home. For whatever reason, the toilet is my favorite part.

Robb brought these crazy figures home from work recently. Now, to keep them safe from the destruction know as Lincoln.

Fire Station Birthday Party

The Crawfords planned a very special party for Oliver's third birthday—a visit to the fire station! I couldn't tell who was having more fun, the throng of giddy little party-goers, or the resident firefighters. The kids got little firefighter helmets and were free to explore the rigs. They even got to try on some real gear.

An Early Winter

We aren't used to much snow around here, so have been taking this opportunity to get out and experience the stuff. Last year, Lincoln was not amused. He seems to be willing to spend a little more time out this year, but has to have his gloves changed constantly.

Zeke, on the other hand, will stay out all day if you let him. He just loves puttering around with the snow and ice and looking for ways to create snowmen and snow angels. And then there is little man. He was especially excited that dada was working on a little indoor project. He wanted to help.

They could not be cuter.

Raider of the Lego Tote

He's been inching toward the Lego tote for awhile now. And he has clearly had a plan. We usually dole out the larger pieces for him, but he wants more. And after quite a lot of work for his little arms and legs, he managed it.

A Message from Fishy Friend

Apparently he is telling me that it's time to make jello.

Day is Dying

I never tire of seeing the sunsets out here.
