It's a Boy!

Happiest moment of my life.

Proud Papa.

He clearly takes after Robb.

Ezekiel's first visitors.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Ezekiel Desmond Coffee on Sunday, June 27 at 1:22 am. Whew! It was a long wait for him, but worth it in every way. He weighed in at 8 pounds, eleven ounces and was 22.5 inches long. We are so thankful for all of your thoughts and prayers and well wishes. We are totally smitten with him, and can't stop staring at his little face.

The Graduate

On Friday, Robb sat for the registry and passed with flying colors. With that giant stress out of the way, we had a lovely graduation weekend with friends and family. Bill, Mom, Grandma Marie and Dad were all able to come from California and stay for a couple of days.

The pinning ceremony was on Saturday over in Pasco, followed by some snacks back at our place. Robb spent the better part of the afternoon running around the yard with Asher and Finn in a water fight. Thanks to all of you for helping to make this event so special!

Walla Walla Wheat Fields

We're busier than ever at the moment. The baby's due date is nine days away (we're at 39 weeks now), Robb takes his registry this coming Friday, his graduation is on Saturday and we're still in the midst of the add-on project.

Whew! To top it all off, he's started his per diem job at St. Mary's, so after putting in a 12-hour day today, he took me on a scenic drive and we had a little photo shoot.

Addition Progress #4

Okay, we really weren't planning on redoing the floors at this point, but Robb decided that since the entire house is already coated in dust and grime, we might as well rip up the linoleum as well. I only helped a little bit, scraping at stubborn bits of flooring. I didn't take a picture of that mess, because it was entirely too depressing.

We were so blessed to have Dave come over and help Robb, because I am pretty much useless at this point. They had to cut out little sections of the door jams, using these Japanese knives that belong to Johannes. Which, of course, led to all sorts of posing. Nelita and I watched a movie and the boys worked late into the night. Thanks guys!

Addition Progress #3

The outside of the house is painted! It took a few weeks to get it scraped, power-washed and primed. I love how the stain changed the look of the roof so much!
