A Wee Party

My dear friends put together this little birthday dinner and it was perfect in every way. Robb always claims that he doesn't do celebrations well, but I beg to differ. Thanks to all of you, I had a wonderful day.

Today was SO much fun. To have both of my brothers here with their beautiful families was a very special treat. Of course, we couldn't resist getting the little ones together for a few pictures.

Play Date

Oliver got to spend awhile with us this afternoon, and it was so much fun. We've been waiting for the day when these two would actually play together, instead of just trying to snatch eachother's toys. And clearly, the day is here. They explored playdough, watched Curious George together and dined like kings. Love!

Taking a Stand

Lincoln started pulling up to stand! What? He is so proud of himself. I'm not sure if Zeke knows how much this is going to rock his world.

Riding Along

It is no secret that one of the best parts about visiting Montana is riding around on the quads. Zeke has been trying to figure out how to start them on his own. Watch out, world!

Uncle Larry rides in style as well. Robb and I were seriously coveting this John Deere.

Cousin Time

We were so happy that we got to spend some time with Tara and the kiddos. Zeke was ecstatic to be in the middle of so much energy and fun. And Calder is the sweetest little dude. All smiles.

Robb had been anxious to try out this fire idea. It was pretty cool.

We spent some lovely time over at the Kacks this afternoon. Lincoln bonded with Aunt Suzie over cuddles and kisses and some bird watching on the back porch. They are pretty cute together.

Montana Workday

As the weather turns summery, we just can't resist the call of Montana. We thought we would head up for a quick weekend getaway and accomplish a few things. We got in SO late last night, but still managed to get a few things done today. The boys have so much fun. Lincoln mostly sat in one spot and tried to eat pine cones. Zeke got a few driving pointers from Uncle Larry.

These guys are to blame for my fishing craze this season. Mark and Chris are a couple of amazing fishermen that I work with, and since I know very little on using a spinning rod, I'm soaking up everything they have to say. Thanks guys!

To the Dentist

Ezekiel and I ventured out together for our dental checkups. He was such a little trooper. He even held very still while they took some x-rays of his teeth! I don't even like doing that. My turn was next, but Zeke didn't get any heroic pics of me. He was too busy reading Ranger Rick.

Afterward, we celebrated by visiting the toy store and watching the choo-choos. It was so much fun to spend some alone time together. He is growing up into such a fine little man.
