28 Weeks
The little one is now about 17 inches long and weighs around 3 pounds. And since I'm tired of being the only one that has to have their photo taken every week, I'm posting one of daddy at 28 weeks too! Ha.
Man Bag
So with the kid on the way there are a few items that we've been looking for to make life easier. Things like strollers, diaper pails (they hide the poop smell), car seats, and diaper bags. Now I've noticed that there are a large number of quality bags out there BUT most of them are made for a lady. I already have to carry a purse whenever I go shopping with Jessica and that's enough for me. So, I've been hunting for a mans diaper bag that isn't supper cheesy and is durable and something that I would carry anywhere including church. There were a few selections (4) and I've dwindled it down to the messenger bag from Alchemy goods. I know it isn't made to be a diaper bag but I think it will work just fine.

27 Weeks
We're a little late with the photo this week, but here it is. It is fun to look back at the picture from the end of January and compare. I think I was about 20 weeks at that point. I'm wearing the same dress today, but it looks a bit different now.
We're in the third trimester at this point, though not in any rush. Robb just started work on the baby room addition, so we'll take all the time we can get!

In an IKEA stupor
On the way home from our Portland getaway, Dave and Nelita decided that we needed to expirience Ikea. What follows is a life-changing moment courtesy of the Crawfords.

Portland Excursion
Well, we had a wonderful weekend with some SUPER cool people. David and Nelita with the two of us in tow, made a quick dash over to Portland to crash Josh and Jen's belated anniversary. This wasn't as scary as it sounds. Although more food was consumed than I could have ever imagined; Nel got scalded from INSANELY HOT coffee (NO! not Jess or myself); we were all serenaded by a drumming group that was just marching down the street around 10 in the evening; and, unfortunately, amazingly awesome hats were not purchased. (Just a little taste.) Below are a couple of shots in between all the mayhem. Hope you enjoy.

(he is so amazing!)
What looks odd in this picture?
Besides Josh I mean. hehe
Jen is crazy at networking, she was meeting people all over the city who knew her from iartu.
I love exploding Dog.
Tear...in...my eye.
We had a lot of fun.

Spring
The current progress.
My end goal.
I'm trying my hand at growing things. Again. Last year I put a bunch of hollyhock seeds in the ground and then pretty much left them alone. That didn't work, so last Sunday I planted a few dozen seeds in little starter boxes and have been diligently putting them out during the day and watering them and bringing them in at night. (Okay, so mostly Robb is the one who remembers to bring them in at night.) This morning I was greeted by half a dozen happy little sprouts! Oh joy! I must keep these brave little souls alive.
