Kotzebue Driving



So, the vehicles here are pretty amazing. Since there are no actual roads into Kotzebue, everything has to be brought in on cargo ships. Pretty much, if you can start the vehicle, that is all that matters. In point of fact, you don't have to have license plates or driver's licenses. Driving down the street the other day was a forklift carrying a pallet with a guy riding on top. The local sheriff drove by at the same moment and only waved. Everything goes.
