Happy New Year!

The Currents hosted a lovely New Years Eve party, and the Coffee men failed to keep it classy. Lincoln drank too much sparkling cider and tried to make out with every cute girl he saw.

Snack Time

Baby is getting pretty good at joining his big brothers for snack time. They aren't sure yet whether this is a good thing or not.

This Guy

He just had to sport his "First Christmas" pjs one last time. Zeke wore them. Lincoln wore them. And now Everett. (I think this is more about mommy realizing that there won't be another smaller sibling to wear these pjs again. Arrgggg.)

Sabbath Snow

The snow kept falling last night, so it's starting to look like the Montana winters of my childhood. And I know the boys already have great memories of running though the snow with their cousins.

Merry Christmas Mayhem

It is always a wild time when we get all these Craik grandchildren together. Too much fun was had by all.

Site of Future Fun

The last time we stood on this spot, it was still a large hole in the dirt. But, in the months that followed our last visit, dad and Larry go the foundation in! It is so exciting to see such amazing progress and imagine all the fun to come.

Let it Snow!

We awoke to two surprises this morning. The first is that grandma was awake early, decorating the tree. The second is that it was snowing. The boys spent some time staring at the sparkling lights of the tree, watching the snowflakes settle and wrestling grandpa. Then, off for a drive to see Uncle Larry.

Montana at Last!

It's been over a year since we were in Montana, which is much too long according to Ezekiel. But we made it here at last and the boys were ready for adventure. The biggest surprise is that there is no snow. In Montana. Just days before Christmas! But the boys did find some nice icy patches to explore.

Miss G

Geneva came to hang out with us for a bit today. The boys seem to enjoy having her around almost as much as I do. Lincoln tries to find things to give her. Baby Everett probably wanted to poke her face, we didn't let him get very close. But it surprised me how smitten Zeke seems to be.

Good Morning to You

The boys love running in to baby's room to sing him the good morning song. Granted, they are still sleeping when he first wakes up, so this little tradition plays out after his morning nap. Baby is so excited to see his big brothers and they love making him smile.

Daddy's Castle

After pestering Robb for a couple of days, Zeke finally got his wish. H has been very carefully disassembling and rebuilding each of the castle components by himself.

Birthday Eve Lego Party

To celebrate Robb's birthday this year, we put the kids to bed and built a Lego castle. We'll see how long it takes Zeke to convince dada to share.

Birthday Bash

December is a pretty packed birthday month around here! Ellis and Balu celebrated together with a Peter Pan and Tinkerbell party. Auntie Nilmini made little Pan caps and there were fairy wings that kept ending up on baby (and daddy).

Pajamagram

That's right, folks. The whole Coffee family in matching jammies. Thanks, Grandma Marie! We put these on after church and may have stayed in them for the rest of the day.

Sabbath School Story Time

There are some pretty creative teachers in Zeke's class, but this mama wins. She told the kids a story about a flock of sheep that listened to the angels sing when Jesus was born. Apparently she glued individual cotton balls onto a sweatshirt to make her costume. The cotton balls kept dropping off throughout the story. Baby Everett was mildly amused.

Presents!

We had a little early Christmas gift exchange before parting ways for the holidays. I love watching kids bust into wrapping paper. Ellis didn't even really care about presents, as long as she could tear paper.
