Bee Keepin'

It was time for a little hive checking today, so we donned our gear and headed out. These gals have been making some excellent progress this season.

Coffee Boys

It is always  a great idea to try and get a multi-generation shot, so this is out attempt at three generations of Coffee men. Some of the men were being more cooperative than others. But they are a pretty handsome lot.

A Boy's Best Friend

Lincoln never passes up an opportunity to climb around on dad's truck. Sheila never misses an opportunity to be with Lincoln.

Holding Baby

We are loving that the boys are interested in their little brother. When Lincoln came on the scene, Zeke was pretty much indifferent to him, but baby Everett is another story entirely. Both boys are surprisingly affectionate with him and are always trying to cover him with kisses. Hopefully this trend continues.

Camouflage

While doing some important outdoor adventuring today, Zeke decided that he needed to blend in with the scenery a bit better. Robb caught him with this nest of grass on his head.

Cousins

These two are going sailing in the mission boat. One of the best parts of Sabbath School by far!

Planting the Lavender

We feel blessed to have these awesome helpers that are always so willing to get involved. Today we needed to get about fifty lavender plants in the ground and we had quite the system.

A Crawford Visit

We haven't been getting out too much lately, so it is great when friends stop by. Rusty didn't feel like being very outgoing, but Zeke and Linc were quick to invite Oliver to play in their dirt pile.

Lincoln at Large

There are days when Lincoln is extra busy. Most days, actually. Today he spent some quality time pouring water into different containers in the sink. Since he's figured out how to bring a little chair over to the sink, he helps himself to this activity whenever possible. He also practiced getting baby to take a binkie. It seems to have worked.

Plant a Tree (or Nine)

Yep, this is happening. On our to-do list for this spring (amongst other things) was to put in a row of shade trees along the driveway. Because of an incredible sale at the nursery, we ended putting in nine of them. By hand. And when I say "we" I mean Robb.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Some of actually got outside today! Uncle Corren dropped by, so Lincoln tried to catch a ride. Grandpa took Zeke for a little excursion and came home with a kite, so there was definitely some kite flying going on.

Day 3

We got to come home today! It took quite a few hours for them to get through all the discharge paperwork, but we made it. And it feels so great to be back in our own surroundings and have the boys all together. The big boys are being so cute with Rusty. And Uncle Jesse and Auntie Rachel stopped by for a short visit, so that made the day even better.

Meanwhile...

We are so blessed to have Gabby looking after this family. It seems that the boys have been having a blast without us. They got to go to the toy store and pick out a new book each. And watch the trains, of course. And they got to go play in the park and then went back home to eat jello jigglers. Gabby is the greatest.

Day 2

Just a few shots from our second day with little Everett. He is so sweet. And the boys were able to come for another visit. Lincoln is so sweet with him. And he got to meet his Uncle Everett too. Pretty momentous day.

Visitors

I love this part. Gabby and Trevor were able to bring the big boys in and meet their new little brother. They were actually somewhat excited about it. And Robb and I were anxious to see our whole family together again, so it was perfect.

Everett A. Coffee

At last. We got to meet the newest member of our family at 2:35 this afternoon! He is our biggest boy yet, weighing in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces.
