Robb has decided that its time to bathe these rascals together. As you can imagine, there is a crazy amount of splashing and lots of giggles. And somewhere in there, the boys get clean.

Guess What?
Zeke: "Guess what, Mama?"
Mama: "What?"
Zeke: "Boo!"
(He learned this little gem from Matt and Kennedi.)

Easter
Lincoln and Nilmini get cuddly.
We had such a fun Easter morning over at the Fackenthalls. There was good food, fantastic company and plenty of activities for the little ones. They got to paint eggs and then, of course, the hunt!
No outing to the Fackenthalls is complete without a jump on the trampoline.
The fruit trees were in full, glorious bloom.

Little Chunkers
This kid is showing all of the signs of getting ready to crawl. This is mostly sad for me, because it means he will probably start slimming down. And I ADORE his little pudginess. Alas...

Mr. Froggy
While cleaning up the yard this evening, Robb and Zeke came across a little frog. He was a cute little guy, but was getting handled a little too much, so Robb rescued him. We have been having to constantly monitor the tank to make sure little hands aren't making their way in there.

Lincoln Love
Easter Egg Painting
We picked up some egg painting supplies today so Zeke could try his hand. He was so careful and tidy. Well, while painting. Later on, he found the dye tray and managed to dump it on the kitchen rug. But, the eggs turned out well.
Lincoln Photo of the Day
Zeke was sharing this morning. First, he shared some of his stickers. Then, he shared a muffin. Lincoln couldn't be more pleased.

Spring Cleanup
This is pretty much what the entryway to our home looked like when we moved in last summer. There were about eight planters hosting a giant collection of weeds. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. Well, I guess I could, cause they made it all through winter and until a few weeks ago when I finally started implementing my plan. You see, the flower bed that spans the rest of the front of the house was entirely filled with gravel and a weird collection of rocks and shells. So we started scooping out the gravel then dumped the dirt from the planters into the bed.
Next, Robb planted the ornamental Japanese maple that we got on sale last fall.
Finally, a visit to the local sod farm and a few hours later we have a new piece of tidy, simple lawn. (Cause that is what we needed, more lawn.)

Mr. Independence
This little boy likes to be in charge. He's been trying to hold his own bottle for months now, but last night he finally succeeded at feeding himself. He is feisty in so many ways. If he can get a grip on your hair, he will give it quite a tug. He has developed a shriek that is clearly not about being hungry or tired. He breaks it out any time he is feeling bored or annoyed. And he has a wicked twinkle in his little eyes, like he is planning something really big. Probably a diaper present for mom. I love it all.
This evening Robb put him to sleep in the hammock and after an hour or so I heard some rustling over there. At first all I could see was a little hand holding up a bottle. Like he was asking for a refill.

I Got Your Feet
I love how these two are starting to enjoy each other a bit. Lincoln thinks that anything Zeke does is hilarious. Their silliest laughs are always for each other.

The Skype
In Sabbath School, Zeke sings this little song about how we talk to Grandma and Grandpa on the phone, but we talk to Jesus when we pray. Well, I guess he has decided to reinterpret the song for the modern day.
Zeke is a bit Skype obsessed, and always wants to call someone, so if I see that you are logged in and available, you might just be getting a call from Zeke.

At Home with the Brave
Zeke had a doctor's appointment today. He was really excited. For some reason, he has decided that doctors are the best. Maybe because he knows that dada works at the hospital and helps doctors. Maybe because he spent the better part of last year going to the doctor with mama. For whatever reason, he is crazy about doctors. He did really well.
And then he had to go for a blood draw. Given the way I nearly pass out when having blood drawn, I was a bit apprehensive for him. I didn't even go in, stayed in the car with a sleeping Linc. So it was a pretty big surprise to hear how well it had gone. No crying or whimpering. He didn't even flinch! So glad he is taking after his dada.
