It is so much fun watching Zeke try to extract Cheerios from this container. He seems so proud of himself when he succeeds.

Fun With Grandma

This afternoon, Grandma and Zeke got cuddly in his reading nook and enjoyed some stories. Then he went for her glasses and did his best Chicken Little impersonation.

Swimming!

Well, at least splashing. It was around nap time when we hit the pool, so Ezekiel mostly wanted to cuddle with Grandma. He soon decided that the water was fun and had a big ol' splash fest.

Ezekiel is Nine Months Old

He's now just over 20 pounds and almost 30 inches long.

Lazy Sabbath Afternoon

It is so great to be able to kick back with loved ones and have a relaxing Sabbath afternoon. There were some long naps, good laughs and lots of cuddles.

Grandma Love

Ezekiel is just loving having Grandma Marla here. She hangs out on the floor with him and he is soaking up all the undivided attention.

Ezekiel got this amazing little outfit from the Davamonys last week and we could barely wait for Sabbath.

It is so much fun to watch the boys play together. Both Levi and Corban like to pick up Ezekiel. Malachi isn't so interested, but Zeke loves to stare at him and try to grab his eyes.

This week we got a visit from Grandma Marla and Papa Bill. Ezekiel had fun showing off his new skills and learning some new ones.

In The Jailhouse

We put up this gate as a way of containing our newly mobile young man. It has turned out to be one of his favorites features of the room. He seems to be using it to learn how to pull himself up to standing.

New Food

Tonight Ezekiel feasted on Sweet Corn & Rice. I didn't give it a taste, but it seemed to be well received. Another fun little development: he appears to have the idea that he is ready to feed himself.

Sleeping Baby

There is something entirely intoxicating about watching a baby sleep. I don't seem able to capture the sweet peace of it on film. (But I'm loving those chunky thighs!)
