We got up early to hit the road Sabbath morning. After attending church at UCA with Michael, we got to have lunch with Broc and Sherisa. Sherisa had whipped up an amazing minestrone soup and we dined like kings.Then off to find some parks in Spokane. I think it was Manito Park that had a gorgeous Japanese Garden and a greenhouse full of exotic plants. Robb went a little crazy with the flower photos. After that we ventured down to the riverfront to see the scenes. It looked quite a bit different without the extra 50,000 people from Bloomsday. We finished off the day with some dinner at Tomato Street (love it!) then back on the road.
