One of my favorite days of the year is putting up the Christmas tree. Because of a certain festive toddler in this house, we've all been subjected to Christmas music since at least September. But, we have been more in the mood for Christmas than ever before. You would think that nothing is better than being a kid at Christmas. But the truth is, it is even being a parent at Christmas.
After cleaning up from the party, we packed the kids in the car and headed to the tree lot. We had to wake up Zeke when we got there, but when he realized what we were up to, he was wide awake. The boys did a great job of choosing a tree that was just right and we got it home and lit up tonight. Tomorrow we'll add the ornaments.
