We were very pleased that Luna was celebrating her second birthday locally, so we could join in the festivities. She is such a big girl and so sweet and friendly. Zeke loved all the balloons and especially the loot from the pinata.
It was a busy morning. We had a very early ultrasound appointment, followed by a doctor's appointment a little later. Since we had a little break in between, we decided to celebrate a little with a doughnut. Zeke even got to pick out his own (pink frosting!) and enjoyed eating it all by himself. He is going to be so wired later on...
Today was our official, midterm ultrasound. The little guy was posing for all he was worth, giving us every angle we were looking for and cooperating in general. I'm sure that will all end in another 20 weeks. It looks like he has incredibly long legs and was kicking the whole time. Zeke got to watch and kept practicing saying "baby" and "brother". Happily, everything looks good and healthy, so I couldn't be happier.
On our excursion to Andy's Market today, we let Zeke push a little cart instead of riding in a big one. He was pretty excited to have free range of the store and tried to run away a few times. But it was really fun helping him pick out produce and add it to his cart. Thanks, Andy's!
Ezekiel has been enjoying the warmish, spring weather and the chance to get outside more often. I'm not going to lie, we're enjoying it too! Lately he has been visiting some new horse friends and doing some general exploration. Hopefully much more of this to come.
We got to take a peek at my little occupant today. Looks like Zeke is going to have his very own little brother. So much joy! (And can you believe I post pictures like this on the internet?)
Zeke has been getting braver and braver about putting his head under the water. (Mommy is proud, since that is still a big deal to her.) Without any coaxing, he's been putting his ears and mouth under water. And of course, blowing bubbles.
Tonight while making her amazing Strawberry Cheesecake (with chocolate drizzle!), Nelita let Zeke lick the beaters. He seemed to think it was a good idea.

The Currents had us over for an awesome Sunday morning breakfast. We might have forgotten about the time change so had to hustle a bit. After breakfast Zeke got to help Cheris give Tatertot a bath and then helped him dry off.
We got to take Kennedi with us to Sabbath School this morning. Everyone in her house was sick and she was feeling anxious to get out. The rode back there, staring at each other through their shades and holding hands half the time.
We spent some time trapped in a small conference room this afternoon. Once Zeke got weary of exploring the stash of toys, he decided that he would join in the fun and sign some papers. He is really good at it.

Julie and Kennedi invited us to go to the park today. It was a perfectly sunny spring morning and the ducks were very happy to see us. The kids took their time playing on the swings and slides and climbing about. We'll have to do this again.
