Robb got off work yesterday afternoon and booked it on up to Montana. Uncle Larry took care of him, fed him and set him up today to get some trees chopped up. I think Robb had a LOT of fun, and got home late tonight with a load of split wood and some sore muscles.
This is one of the reasons Ezekiel doesn't get to play with pens. One of the other reasons is on the wall down the hall.
But, since he already got started...
He's a crafty little fellow. We are pretty good about putting away all the pens and markers, yet somehow he manages. So if he ever gets really quiet, there is a pretty good chance that he's practicing his artistic skills.

For David's 32nd birthday, Nelita conspired with Corren and Robb to put together a fly fishing kit extraordinaire. Those crazy boys are actually getting up at 5:30 tomorrow to go fishing...

Ezekiel loves exploring new surroundings, so it was a treat to visit Rachel's house this afternoon. He soon discovered an apron and wore it around like a little superhero. He even got to do some flying with Jesse and practice his superpower—blowing out candles.

Ezekiel is really figuring out how to get into mischief. He seemed pretty excited when he figured out that he could climb up on the chair and play with the light switch. And a bonus was being eye-level with the mirror.
Zeke and Kennedi got to hang out this morning for awhile. They are too funny together. Mostly they follow eachother around getting into stuff. But there are also cuddles and kisses.
With two parents as Nutella-obsessed as we are, it was only a matter of time until Zeke had his first taste. We found these little snack packs at the store tonight and let him try some.
We've been having so much rain lately that a clear day is suddenly a treat. Zeke is soaking up the last of the summer sun rays. And collecting leaves and pebbles and twigs. He has the funniest little pincher fingers...
What is it about peaches and pears that drive Ezekiel to wipe his hands in his hair? Pear juice as styling product? He did this all himself.
