More Bees!

Robb got another swarm call this afternoon. This lost colony was hanging out at the Panda Express drive-through, and Robb got to take Kirsten along for the retrieval mission.

Jumping Ship

How great to have Harrison in Sabbath School with us this morning. I guess Rusty has just had enough of the mission boat. Though it is usually his favorite part.

A Full Day

Some days are just more eventful than others. Today included blueberry face-painting (not a mommy-sponsored event), an excellent beekeeping date, dishwasher gymnastics (also not condoned by the establishment) and the arrival of our awesome little buddy, Harrison!

This Happened

Ah man. I came across this little dress of Geneva's when I was folding the laundry. Unfortunately, I went ahead with my first impulse and tried it on Rusty. Also, unfortunately, he looked really cute in it and seemed to feel very pretty.

Swarm Removal

When Robb heard about this swarm he was instantly giddy. And it just so happened that the rest of us could come along and observe. Zeke and Lincoln got as close as Robb would let them. Rusty and I mostly hung back and flirted with Liv.

Sunsets

While working in my loft this evening, I glanced out the window to see Robb holding the baby in one arm, and flying the boys kite with the other. He is a pretty fantastic daddy. I tried to take a picture, because the sky was amazing, all diffused light. But I was too slow. Then I found these on Robb's phone.

Meanwhile at St. Mary's

Robb and Uncle Everett actually run into one another from time to time. Today they had some classes together and made me jealous by texting pictures of how much fun they were having.

Gardening-ish

The Coffee mud pits are quite active this time of year.

Sabbath is a Happy Day

If we are being honest, Sabbath can be one of the more stressful days. There is a specific time when we have to have the whole family out the door, relatively clean and dressed and then we expect everyone to be on their best and quietest behavior (we actually call it "church voice"). And all of this while baby is skipping his morning nap.

But, we persevere. And it seems to be getting better. Gradually. And the boys are crazy about Sabbath School. Robb kept getting called in right during Sabbath School for several weeks in a row and they were not amused to be missing Sabbath School.

Muddy Buddy

I wondered why he was holding his arms so stiff while walking up to the house. I guess the feeling of dried mud was making him not want to move. This is why my house is always so clean. I regret nothing.
