Boys

When Lincoln came across this in an old album, he grabbed it and ran off to show it to his brother. Before I could casually confiscate it, I overheard this little exchange.

Lincoln: (giggling) Bum bum!
Ezekiel: (matter-of-factly) No, those are breasts.
Lincoln: Cool bike. Cool bike!

Royal Meet and Greet

Oliver wanted to see the bees. These are magic words for Robb. He takes every opportunity to bore people with bee stuff. So, be forewarned. If you don't want to be stuck in a bee suit looking at a captured queen, don't ask about Robb's bees.

Makes Me Happy

These pre-spring days are finally luring us outside. Zeke is trying to assume full chicken chore duty. Lincoln is intent upon learning to bat and bowl. Baby Everett is looking for Sheila's special yard bombs.

Cracking Up

So, Lincoln was reading a Curious George book this morning and giggling to himself. When I asked him what he was reading, he just started to say "big bum bum." When I checked out of the page for myself I could see his point. He insisted on texting dada with his discovery.

Strike a Pose

We found this (disposable?) surgery cap while folding the laundry today. The boys kept taking turns stealing from each other and doing their best dada impersonations.

Fading Fast

Oh the smiles of a baby. And the snores.

Sunday Craft

The craft project this month is pretty cute—tiny lawn mowers for the kids to nail together then paint. Zeke did much of his on his own. Then there was Lincoln. I may have done most of the construction. Gabby then did most of the painting. Then on to pick up a few things for the house. Baby Everett is an expert Home Depot shopper.

Salmon Pizza

This post is really about how Gabby came for a visit. And Zeke wanted to take her to dinner. So, the best thing that he can imagine is salmon pizza from Olive.

Life is Sweet

Robb pulled a few frames to harvest this spring. The bees made these without the plastic bases, so they are wonderfully free-form. We've all been freely sampling. And letting the straggling bees out the door, one by one.

Sidekicks

The boys love to be included in all of our plans and projects. So, today that meant Lincoln joining me for a job, Zeke and Linc helping Robb do a couple of hive checks and baby Everett helping me sand some cabinet doors. Everything takes twice as long, but is exponentially more sweet.
