Lunch with Friends

We got to have lunch with Nel and the kiddos. And Nel whipped up some super delicious pasta salad. Zeke was inspired to use his finger spork. Oliver is smiling so big his eyes are closed.

Fun with Prunes

At six months, we finally realized we should let this guy try some solids. He's been lunging for our food for months, and showing all signs that he wanted to eat from a spoon. But alas, his parents are slow. As soon as he was offered that first bite, he was almost a pro. His repertoire now includes prunes, applesauce, peaches and rice cereal.

Talking on the Phone

Zeke can finally carry on a conversation over the phone. Well, sort of. He used to just nod and smile, but this evening he actually answered questions and held the phone to his ear instead of trying to hang up and play Temple Run.

Pirate Booty

Zeke wanted to play with his pirate treasure today, but after awhile I started to grow suspicious. It was too quiet in the house and I Zeke hadn't emerged from his room since running off with the treasure box. So I went to investigate.

Oh man. Zeke was bedazzling his bedroom. He was quite proud to show off several little art installations.
