A Brunch with Friends

Lincoln enjoys the brunch entertainment.


I was such a treat to have Dennis back in town for a few days. We miss him so much. So we celebrated by going to Bacon and Eggs. It has been a pretty popular brunch spot for some time, but we've managed to miss it until now. Overall we were pretty impressed. Robb couldn't help but photograph his meal. Next we headed over to the Patisserie. Mostly because we just didn't want our morning to be over. But, alas, Dennis is off to the airport and on his way back to the big city. I certainly hope that it won't be a whole year until we see him again.

Nuc

Robb has been doing some pretty cool stuff lately. One of our bee colonies took a major hit, and it looked like it was down to only the queen and a very few worker bees. So he went ahead and built a Nuc hive for them. He's going to do a little experiment with introducing a couple of frames of workers from another hive. We'll see how it goes...

This little fella has to be sneaky sometimes. Ezekiel is quite jealous of his Angry Birds toys, so this morning I watched as Lincoln snatched up a piggy and ran behind a curtain with his treasure.

Move In Day

So, when we set today as the move in date for our new tenant, we were aware that it was going to be a long haul. Good grief. Thanks to a LOT of help from our friends, we were sort of ready. Granted, we were still cleaning the floor and hauling out our tools... But here it is.
