Surprise!

I guess this canister got knocked off the table while I was in the back and Robb was in the living room. When it grew suspiciously quiet in the kitchen I went to investigate and found my busy little boy. (Grandma Lorraine, does this look familiar?)

Ezekiel Photo of the Day

The cat has finally decided that the baby isn't so bad. Ezekiel is the only one around here who will give her any attention. Here they are getting cozy this morning.

Emmarie Comes to Town

We got to visit with some very special gals today. It was great to catch up and see how much the little ones have changed. Also, I got to cuddle with Emmarie when she was asleep—delightful! We miss you guys and wish we could see you more often.

I See You, Baby

Well hello there, handsome.

Zeke has been a little under the weather for the last few days. He is spectacularly snotty, but continues to be cheerful and funny. He discovered a mirror sitting at his level and was having quite a chat with his reflection. Then back over to mommy to share big, wet, slimy kisses.

Tool Time

He is really concentrating on this one...

Corren was over early this morning to help Robb with the fence. (Thank you SO much!) And of course, Ezekiel was eager to get out there and see what they were doing. At least he stayed a little cleaner today.

Dirt. (DIRT!!)

Ezekiel was ecstatic when daddy let him come outside to help with the patio project. There are delightful piles of dirt and gravel and also some water to get into. By the end of the evening he succeeded in slathering himself with mud.

This is one dedicated husband.

I swear it was right there.

White Sabbath

Labor Day is tomorrow. So much for dressing my dapper men in white for the rest of the year...

Can't Resist the Fair

Zeke begged these curly fries off of a stranger.

The fair is the perfect place for people watching.

Pondering in the wonder.

A hay bale diaper change.

Walking with mommy and daddy.

Apparently we didn't get enough deep-fried food and animal watching the first time...

En Garde!

Ezekiel found these bamboo sticks in my flower bed. Fencing seemed like a good idea and he went after daddy. (If you look closely, you can see Great-grandma Edna in the doorway, she and Pepper spent the afternoon with us!)
