New Food

Tonight Ezekiel feasted on Sweet Corn & Rice. I didn't give it a taste, but it seemed to be well received. Another fun little development: he appears to have the idea that he is ready to feed himself.

Sleeping Baby

There is something entirely intoxicating about watching a baby sleep. I don't seem able to capture the sweet peace of it on film. (But I'm loving those chunky thighs!)

Ezekiel Photo of the Day

Here is Zeke, fresh from the shower and borrowing with my towel too. Maybe the sound of the shower curtain startled him. At any rate, it reminds me of this scene from Finding Nemo.

Feeding Fail

I guess he just got tired of holding his sippy cup in his hands. He also likes to cradle my face in his pudgy little feet.

Pestering Sammy

He tolerates having his leash pulled on.

I guess that little boys and dogs were made to be together. Ezekiel can't get enough of his Sammy time. I suppose it is paying off though, as he did some actual crawling to get to him. Then he tried crawling a few more times this evening. He might be finally figuring it out.

Cracker Snacks

This whole feeding himself deal has Ezekiel pretty excited. He makes a huge mess, but it is totally worth it.

The Love of Books

We made this little play corner for Ezekiel beside my desk. He loves having his own shelf of books and toys to play with whenever he works his way into the corner.

Spring Cleanup

We finally got a chance to get outside and do some work today. The tomato plants from last fall are all pulled up and we have loaded a truckload of junk to go to the dump tomorrow. Ezekiel enjoyed playing with the sun on his face and the dirt under his feet.
